Chaturvedi's X post reveals a journey that challenges conventional wisdom. Despite achieving remarkable success with his D2C shoe brand, the IITian decided to walk away from entrepreneurship. But here's where it gets controversial... he did so because he was dissatisfied with the operations of his manufacturers in Surat.
"He scaled his brand to ₹2 crore in monthly sales, but left it all behind," Chaturvedi wrote. "He's now a Lead Engineer at a Gurgaon-based startup with Series A funding."
And this is the part most people miss: it wasn't about money or a lack of business acumen. The IITian simply got tired of dealing with supply issues and the challenges of working with manufacturers. He wanted to apply his engineering mind to a different arena.
