As Disney gears up for the Avatar: Fire and Ash release next week, it’s reasonable to expect Marvel to drop the next Avengers teaser around that film’s debut. A listing from the Korean Media Ratings Board for an Avengers: Doomsday teaser trailer, clocking in at one minute and 25 seconds, has fueled widespread speculation that the trailer is imminent.
Even though the next Avengers movie isn’t due in theaters until December 18, 2026, a teaser that offers a quick peek at the forthcoming Marvel team-up fits a long-standing pattern in how studios market major releases. It would be sensible to receive it soon.
Of course, Disney could always revise the schedule and reserve the teaser for 2026, but there are strong incentives to pair a trailer with a high-profile Avatar release. After all, it’s the cinematic event of the season.
