The 2025 Quinn Coleman Memorial Scholarship recipients have been announced by the Recording Academy’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) team and the GRAMMY Museum. The five recipients—Eliana Dean, Julie Flores, Khaleel Santiago, Melissa Lysiak, and Parker Jones—will receive a combined package of awards and opportunities to support their education and early career development in the music industry.

Each recipient will obtain two tuition scholarships of $1,000 each, a $500 stipend allocated for interview preparation, and two stipends of $250 designated for books and equipment. In addition, they will participate in financial and emotional wellness seminars. As part of the program, every scholar will also undertake a spring internship with either the Recording Academy or the Latin Recording Academy.

The 2025 cohort hails from a diverse range of states and areas of interest within the field of music, reflecting a broad spectrum of ambitions—from communications and film to music business, arts management, and sound recording technology:
- Eliana Dean: a senior at Oakwood University, studying communications with a focus on film and television.
- Julie Flores: a sophomore at Berklee College of Music, studying music business/management.
- Khaleel Santiago: a senior at Drexel University, studying entertainment and arts management.
- Melissa Lysiak: a junior at Chapman University, studying business administration/management with a concentration in music business.

Established in 2021, the Quinn Coleman Memorial Scholarship honors the life and legacy of Quinn Coleman, a late music executive and DJ celebrated for his commitment to community, culture, and music. The program, a collaboration between the Recording Academy and GRAMMY Museum, supports college students who are innovating and shaping the future of music through storytelling, creativity, and impact. Rooted in the Recording Academy’s DREAM Network (Diversity Reimagined by Engaging All Music-People), the scholarship emphasizes hands-on learning, professional development, and access to resources that prepare recipients for full-time careers in the industry.
